Saturday night saw another awsum performance from the Y Ahore Que band organised by Sam Thomas (England. Performer/Clowning http://www.chpipolatas.com/) the main events organiser who Started up the Y Ahore Que concept and also found us this great space through Virginie (http://www.artz21.com/)

Friday 30th night;
The Cage a monolog performed by Angelo Scimia (Italy. art performer/musian) gave a great 15minute performance in English where he articulately discussed the concept of 'The Cage' and how it effects each one of us.

Thursday 29th;

Sophia Daly-Rossin (scottish/Italian. Artist http://s.day-rossin.blogspot.com/) with help from Julz...(Fijian/Indian. Artist) took her sign post -(Only The Truth Will Set You Free) on a journey from her studio in Sants to the Artz21 gallery as an Installation piece entitled The Day in a Life Of a Preacher.

Wednesday 26th;

Yakoe (catalan. www.myspace.com/bisturyx) has been adding to your wall art with his own layerd/montage style photography.

....(Itay,Photographer.......) has controbuted by produceing a series of very beautiful photographs especialy for Y Ahore Que. Using several members of the team and carboard boxes found on the nearby streets. ...... has taken some interesting shoots and has very creatively reworked on top of the film with drawings/textures .

Sam Thomas (a true gentleman of the road) has greatly contribued to our photography art works with his collection entitled My True Love. The series dipicked a veriaty of scenes from urban graphity to domestic objects yet there is under lieing and more profound dicorse of life and its quiery ways show so poignantly by his attention to detail.

We also have to say thanks to Sam for finding our little mascot aka Captin Corazone somewhere in Japan on a washing up box.

Monday 26th;

Yakoe and Hunab (Catalan) designed a program for the next weekend's lineup plus created a myspace page and have also nearly finished a short montage film and music recording of the last weekend's jam session.

Beatriz Crespo Gambade (spain, Artist) has begun working on large line drawings on transparent sheets to be fixed to the walls and floors. Sharon Lommano has also begun setting up a display of her art pieces.

Saturday 24th Night :
Thanks to alex?.....(....) for starting off the night with an awsum live touch screen music and image montage performance. And a quick thanks to Yakoe and Hunab who have made a very funky Ya Hora Que tv background for the projections in just a couple hours.

A great first open jaming session with ....(...) on the trumpet ....(....) on the Sax ....(....) on the Harmonian, ...(...) on Stitare and Angelo Scimia on the Shanbe.

Julz did a throughaly good job of emtertaining us all with a kicking performance of rap and dance...and know dought will have something up his sleave for the next weekend's line up.

Friday 23rd;

Laptop Orchestra, the minipulation of computer generated sound which will be preformed live Friday night. Graham ...(.......) will also be taking part.

.....(Argentinian....) and ....(Argentinian...) specialism is the making of reclyed matirals/furnature instruments and have kindly come to participate. Hunab and Yakoe will be recording and filming all the music sessions.

Tuesday 20th;

Sophia Daly-Rossin (Italian/scottish- istallations and fine artist. http://www.b612barcelona.com/) Is working with taping words/pharses throught the space while creating a visual dialog with Sam Thoma's photographs (english- performance artist/clown. http://www.chipolatas.com/).

Monday 19th:
thanks to Artz21 http://www.art21.com/ we have this lovely clean white space for the rest of the month to make/create urban trash art.
The Idea (amoung many) its that the art should be created in this space... which will also be including perfomance, live music, dance, monologs and performace art.
Julz (Lebanese/indian london born. http://http://www.uboho.com//) aka quote 'sexual deviant/ape and singer not to mention Artist' has begun constructing 'black boxes' installation which will be part of the projecting done by Hunab Casillas and Yakoe both(spanish film and music makers) .....

Art according to yahoraque.
yahoraque was born the day before yesterday and she will die on january the
31st, at 4pm. you are invited to witness her baptism, confirmation and funeral.
Before that, it is necessary to clarify the concept.

we declare:
yahoraque is the most flexible question of ‘em all. if she would be an element,
air. if she would be a plant, bamboo. you can ask yourself that yahoraque
99 times each day in order to create a bridge between you and the present
moment. in fact, yahoraque is the only question that really matters. she
keeps you going, unless you are dead. she erase “why who what when where”.
most importantly, she stimulates the good taste to never ever ask the
question“how much does it cost?”. yahoraque will not dress up reality, for she
likes nude.

we declare:
yahoraque never apologize and never yawn.
being every single aritistic creation an object, it needs space. space to be
worked, manicured, exposed to voyeurism or to pure simple admiration. This
is a fact. We declare it while we dance: art needs space and yahoraque has it
for two weeks. consequentially, yahoraque ran out of excuses that justify the
non-creation. yahoraque does not want to know the meaning of the word
procrastination. what we have just said is the definition of a concept that is
true just like a cement colunm.


Nevertheless, being the precedent concept true, according to the greek principle
known as “antinomy”, it should be true the other way around too. We believe
in greek philosophy when it makes our lives easier, and without quitting
the dancefloor we say: art does not need a space. We do not care any longer,
not a problem for two weeks. we have decided not to worry any longer about
time space and expenses. how? we ask ourselves yahoraque? and we move
to the next step. We prefer, yes we rather decide to fall in love indeed. With
shining asphalt, with blank walls, with smokey chimneys, with the mother.
with all.

yahoraque believes in art just like mosquitos believe in the light of street
lamps. we keep hitting art. soon or later we will reach the other side. In the
meanwhile, we console ouselves baking diamonds. nevertheless, yahoraque
believe that it is necessary to get rid of one’s creatons just like we do with the
feet’s nails, and we can’t wait to burn up everything we produce.

yahoraque will not sell her own skin for big money. to be honest, she will not
sell it at all.
